How UpGrades keeps parents informed

With the parent plan, an email arrives every week. It says what your child revised, how many questions they answered and how they scored, in plain English. You do not need to log in or chase them for updates. It is a calm, factual summary, there to start a conversation rather than an argument.

For GCSE subjects, the report also shows whether their recent work puts them on course for the target grade they set. It is a guide from their practice, not a prediction of their exam result. It helps you see where extra help would matter, rather than asking them to revise more of everything.

With the parent plan, each GCSE subject shows whether their recent practice results point to the target grade your child set. Example: on track in Biology, behind in Maths. A-Level subjects are not covered yet. It is a guide from their practice, not a prediction of their exam result.

What they get wrong is set again

UpGrades shows what they got wrong and sets it again. The topics they keep getting wrong come first, so practice time goes where it is needed.

Session activity

Each practice session is recorded with the date, time spent, questions attempted and accuracy. You can see patterns over time: are they revising steadily or cramming the night before? You can also see when they are studying. Any linked parent can see this, with or without the parent plan.

Change from week to week

You can see how sessions and accuracy change from one week to the next. Example: Chemistry accuracy moving from 45% to 65% over three weeks, or staying flat. That tells you whether the current approach is working before exam season arrives.
