Data reports generated from the UpGrades revision platform. Every report here uses first-party data from our own question bank and anonymised student activity — not aggregated from other sources. We publish the methodology alongside each report.
Why we publish this
Most revision websites republish what's on the exam board specs. That has value, but it's the same content Google can find on thousands of other sites. These reports are different — they're built from data only we have, so they give you a view of the landscape you can't get elsewhere. Teachers use them to spot where their cohort is weakest. Parents use them to benchmark effort. Students use them to focus revision where the marks are.
Methodology
Question counts are generated automatically from the production UpGrades question bank. Student activity data, when included in a report, is aggregated to protect individual privacy — no report shows results for fewer than 100 unique students on a given topic. Every report is dated and we don't backdate changes.
